One moment in the cafe

 

I first saw her at the cafe, sipping on a latte and staring out the window. Her stillness caught my attention and I felt something from a distance. I thought that if I were to talk to her, the moment would be ruined and she wouldn't be the same person I saw in that moment. So I contented myself with simply observing her from afar.

 

Her gaze was like an ocean, deep and captivating. It was as if she was lost in thought, and I couldn't help but wonder what was going through her mind. The atmosphere was filled with the scent of coffee, and I felt satisfied just being in her presence and drinking in the mood.

 

I couldn't shake the image of her from my mind. I found myself constantly checking her spot, hoping to see her mood again. I didn't approach her. The mystery and the aura surrounding her was too alluring, and I didn't want to ruin it by striking up a conversation. Instead, I simply savored the moment and walked away, content in the knowledge that our paths may cross again.
