The sky, an unchanging companion to our ancestors for countless centuries, is subject to change. Today it stands clear. Tomorrow, it may find itself cloaked in clouds. My words, however, will remain constant like the stars that never set. I implore your people to understand and remember these words, not just now, but in the future. My words echo the will of nature itself. The world is not just a land for conquest; it houses countless non-human friends. You are but one part of it, and yet, I fear my message may fall on deaf ears, with your minds clouded by ceaseless expansion and greed.

Despite this, I implore you, remember my words. When the sea levels rise, swallowing islands, remember my words. When the sun's heat permeates every breath of air, remember my words. When unusual weather patterns cast their shadows across the globe, remember my words. I can only hope that by then, it won't be too late.

The son of the white chief extends a hand of friendship, a gesture we acknowledge with gratitude, although we recognize that they stand to gain little from our friendship in return. Their people are vast in number, covering the land like grass in prairies, while mine are but scattered trees on a storm-swept plain.

Your proposal brings a sense of dread, a daily nausea. But we know you hold the power to annihilate us. My hope is that we will be your last victims. For if we are not, I fear that our Mother Earth will be, and you will ultimately become victims yourselves.

The white gunners have proposed to purchase our lands, promising to leave enough for us to live comfortably. This proposition appears to be absurd, given that the rights of the red man are no longer recognized, and it may be misguided, as we believe that no one can truly own the land.

There was a time when our people roamed this land as freely as the waves cover the sea floor, but those days have receded into oblivion, along with the splendor of tribes now nearly forgotten. We harbor hope that the hostilities between the red man and his white brothers will not resurface. We would stand to lose everything, with nothing to gain.

I know the guns you have will never stop, until we accept it.
