Wow

As Jane gazed at the dancing flames of the fireplace, she suddenly felt a chill run down her spine. She turned to her friend Sarah and asked, "Have you ever had the feeling that there's a ghost in this house?" Sarah chuckled and replied, "Don't be ridiculous, it's just your imagination playing tricks on you."

 

In that moment, they heard a peculiar noise coming from the kitchen. They cautiously approached the source of the sound, only to discover that their cat was in a fierce battle against multiple rats. The competition was intense, with both sides fighting for their lives. Although the cat was more powerful, the rats were numerous and swift, trying to surround the cat and bite it. The cat fought back, using its paws to strike at the rats. One rat was killed instantly, but the others remained fierce and determined.

 

Sarah found the situation too bizarre and cruel, and she told Jane, "Jane, I know it's natural for them, but this is too much. I always provide enough food for my cat, so she doesn't have to kill them all." Jane understood her friend's concern and approached the animals, attempting to calm them down. However, when she touched the cat, one of the rats bit her hand, causing her pain. Despite this, Jane did not give up on her mission to stop the fighting. She gently picked up the cat and opened the window to allow the rats to escape.
